The entrance leads to a large hallway, ideal for muddy boots and hanging coats. Off the hallway is the triple room with single beds on one side, to the other side is the dining room, with six tables seating 24 which can be moved together.

Leading on from the dining room is the small sunroom and kitchennette with sink and cupboards.


The kitchenette leads onto the main kitchen which is equipped with two electric cookers. fridge with small freezer, microwave and two sinks.

The sitting room has gas fire, coffee tables and a TV.

There is a toilet on the ground floor.

The smaller first floor shower room has been recently refurbished with two private seperate wash cubicles, each with shower and toliet.

The second shower room has three showers and five washbasins.

The two light and airy bunk rooms on the first floor have bunk beds, lamps and cupboard storage space.

There are two further toliets on the first floor.

The second floor bunk rooms are again light and airy with cupboard space; the larger one having particularily splendid views across the fells.

Outside there is a large garden area and ample parking for eight cars.

Gatesyde is situated directly opposite the main beautiful Outward Bound Hall. Guests of Gatesyde have access (with permission from reception) to the beautiful grounds with lake and splendid gardens.
